As a trading concern for in-vitro diagnostics, Dima began to buy and sell IVDs.

Dima implemented its own R&D and started to produce membrane tests.

1999 |
Development of the first self-made ELISA kit for the determination of thyroxine.
For the extension of business, Dima decided to generate a second product line in the beginning of 1999. Since then, Dima produces ELISA kits in its own facility in Göttingen / Germany.

2002 |
Formation of Dima Diagnostica C.A. in Venezuela
In June 2002 Dima Diagnostics C.A. in Venezuela was established to support the South American market. General manager Enrique Gonzales and his Team of 6 employees produce ELISA kits on location and distribute both product lines to laboratories for mission oriented research, public institutes like blood banks and wholesalers.

2004 |
Movement of facility in Germany
In April 2004, Dima Diagnostics GmbH moved to a new building in the industrial park Grone in Göttingen.
The premises offer more than 200sqm of offices and about 300sqm of laboratory room. The warehouse capacity is about 1.500cbm.
