Dima, Gesellschaft für Diagnostika mbH, a German company specializing in diagnostics and Dima Diagnostica SA, based in Venezuela, are represented with two booths at this year's AACC* in San Diego. We are looking forward to welcoming many new prospective and existing customers at our booths.

The German and Indian Dima subsidiaries participated jointly in this year's ArabLab and their performance was a huge success. We were able to make several valuable connections and are pleased with the high level of customer interest in our products. In particular, our trade fair specials - innovative rapid drug diagnostic tests - attracted the crowds.

The new research, development and mass production buildings in Shanghai, China have been completed. The fitting and furnishing of the interior is expected to be completed in April 2007.

Dima drug tests have obtained full FDA approval and as of now can also be sold on the US markets. The 510K clearance is already available.

Dima´s participation in Medica was a complete success. Our booth at Medica was a popular meeting place for customers from all over the world. Representatives from our subsidiaries in India, Venezuela, Germany and Poland were in attendance and ensured that the event was colorful and had a great atmosphere. They also did a lot of work after the event. Their hard work in connection with this event helped make it a great success.

Dima Drug Tests were approved as class II products for the Canadian market.

Setting up of the new R&D laboratory for rapid diagnostic tests. In future, Dima will be able to fully perform the development of quick tests from concept through to prototypes at the Göttingen site. This will mean that it will be possible to make new developments ready for the market more quickly than was previously possible.

Dima has passed the recertification audit by the Technical Inspection Authority (TÜV) and is certified for 3 more years in accordance with European standards ISO 9001:2000 and EN ISO 13485:2003. In addition, Dima obtained certification in accordance with the Canadian directive CMDCAS ISO 13485:2003. The certificates can be seen in the "quality management" area.

Foundation of Dima Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. in India by Mr. Anil Brahambhatt and Dr. Matthias Volk. This Indian subsidiary represents a major step in the direction of a global strategy. Anil Brahambhatt and his team will be responsible for inexpensive purchasing of raw materials, as well as sales in Africa and Asia.

Dima is bringing the Bionexia HBHPcomplex onto the market as the first quick diagnostic test for the parallel detection of both hemoglobin and the hemoglobin-haptoglobin complex.
